قٓ ۚ وَٱلْقُرْءَانِ ٱلْمَجِيدِ
1
Saheeh International
Qaf. By the honored Qur'an...
Transliteration (Aisan) · Aisan Transliteration
qaf wal-qur'āni l-majīdi
بَلْ عَجِبُوٓا۟ أَن جَآءَهُم مُّنذِرٌ مِّنْهُمْ فَقَالَ ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ هَٰذَا شَىْءٌ عَجِيبٌ

Saheeh International
But they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves, and the disbelievers say, "This is an amazing thing.
Transliteration (Aisan) · Aisan Transliteration
bal ʿajibū an jāahum mundhirun min'hum faqāla l-kāfirūna hādhā shayon ʿajībun
أَءِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا ۖ ذَٰلِكَ رَجْعٌۢ بَعِيدٌ

Saheeh International
When we have died and have become dust, [we will return to life]? That is a distant return."
Transliteration (Aisan) · Aisan Transliteration
a-idhā mit'nā wakunnā turāban dhālika rajʿun baʿīdun
قَدْ عَلِمْنَا مَا تَنقُصُ ٱلْأَرْضُ مِنْهُمْ ۖ وَعِندَنَا كِتَٰبٌ حَفِيظٌۢ
4
Saheeh International
We know what the earth diminishes of them, and with Us is a retaining record.
Transliteration (Aisan) · Aisan Transliteration
qad ʿalim'nā mā tanquṣu l-arḍu min'hum waʿindanā kitābun ḥafīẓun
بَلْ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِٱلْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَآءَهُمْ فَهُمْ فِىٓ أَمْرٍ مَّرِيجٍ
5
Saheeh International
But they denied the truth when it came to them, so they are in a confused condition.
Transliteration (Aisan) · Aisan Transliteration
bal kadhabū bil-ḥaqi lammā jāahum fahum fī amrin marījin
أَفَلَمْ يَنظُرُوٓا۟ إِلَى ٱلسَّمَآءِ فَوْقَهُمْ كَيْفَ بَنَيْنَٰهَا وَزَيَّنَّٰهَا وَمَا لَهَا مِن فُرُوجٍ

Saheeh International
Have they not looked at the heaven above them - how We structured it and adorned it and [how] it has no rifts?
Transliteration (Aisan) · Aisan Transliteration
afalam yanẓurū ilā l-samāi fawqahum kayfa banaynāhā wazayyannāhā wamā lahā min furūjin
وَٱلْأَرْضَ مَدَدْنَٰهَا وَأَلْقَيْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ وَأَنۢبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ زَوْجٍۭ بَهِيجٍ
7
Saheeh International
And the earth - We spread it out and cast therein firmly set mountains and made grow therein [something] of every beautiful kind,
Transliteration (Aisan) · Aisan Transliteration
wal-arḍa madadnāhā wa-alqaynā fīhā rawāsiya wa-anbatnā fīhā min kulli zawjin bahījin
تَبْصِرَةً وَذِكْرَىٰ لِكُلِّ عَبْدٍ مُّنِيبٍ
8
Saheeh International
Giving insight and a reminder for every servant who turns [to Allah].
Transliteration (Aisan) · Aisan Transliteration
tabṣiratan wadhik'rā likulli ʿabdin munībin
وَنَزَّلْنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً مُّبَٰرَكًا فَأَنۢبَتْنَا بِهِۦ جَنَّٰتٍ وَحَبَّ ٱلْحَصِيدِ
9
Saheeh International
And We have sent down blessed rain from the sky and made grow thereby gardens and grain from the harvest
Transliteration (Aisan) · Aisan Transliteration
wanazzalnā mina l-samāi māan mubārakan fa-anbatnā bihi jannātin waḥabba l-ḥaṣīdi
وَٱلنَّخْلَ بَاسِقَٰتٍ لَّهَا طَلْعٌ نَّضِيدٌ
10
Saheeh International
And lofty palm trees having fruit arranged in layers -
Transliteration (Aisan) · Aisan Transliteration
wal-nakhla bāsiqātin lahā ṭalʿun naḍīdun
رِّزْقًا لِّلْعِبَادِ ۖ وَأَحْيَيْنَا بِهِۦ بَلْدَةً مَّيْتًا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ ٱلْخُرُوجُ
11
Saheeh International
As provision for the servants, and We have given life thereby to a dead land. Thus is the resurrection.
Transliteration (Aisan) · Aisan Transliteration
riz'qan lil'ʿibādi wa-aḥyaynā bihi baldatan maytan kadhālika l-khurūju
كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ وَأَصْحَٰبُ ٱلرَّسِّ وَثَمُودُ
12
Saheeh International
The people of Noah denied before them, and the companions of the well and Thamud
Transliteration (Aisan) · Aisan Transliteration
kadhabat qablahum qawmu nūḥin wa-aṣḥābu l-rasi wathamūdu
وَعَادٌ وَفِرْعَوْنُ وَإِخْوَٰنُ لُوطٍ
13
Saheeh International
And 'Aad and Pharaoh and the brothers of Lot
Transliteration (Aisan) · Aisan Transliteration
waʿādun wafir'ʿawnu wa-ikh'wānu lūṭin
وَأَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْأَيْكَةِ وَقَوْمُ تُبَّعٍ ۚ كُلٌّ كَذَّبَ ٱلرُّسُلَ فَحَقَّ وَعِيدِ
14
Saheeh International
And the companions of the thicket and the people of Tubba'. All denied the messengers, so My threat was justly fulfilled.
Transliteration (Aisan) · Aisan Transliteration
wa-aṣḥābu l-aykati waqawmu tubbaʿin kullun kadhaba l-rusula faḥaqqa waʿīdi
أَفَعَيِينَا بِٱلْخَلْقِ ٱلْأَوَّلِ ۚ بَلْ هُمْ فِى لَبْسٍ مِّنْ خَلْقٍ جَدِيدٍ
15
Saheeh International
Did We fail in the first creation? But they are in confusion over a new creation.
Transliteration (Aisan) · Aisan Transliteration
afaʿayīnā bil-khalqi l-awali bal hum fī labsin min khalqin jadīdin
وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ وَنَعْلَمُ مَا تُوَسْوِسُ بِهِۦ نَفْسُهُۥ ۖ وَنَحْنُ أَقْرَبُ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ حَبْلِ ٱلْوَرِيدِ
16
Saheeh International
And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein
Transliteration (Aisan) · Aisan Transliteration
walaqad khalaqnā l-insāna wanaʿlamu mā tuwaswisu bihi nafsuhu wanaḥnu aqrabu ilayhi min ḥabli l-warīdi
إِذْ يَتَلَقَّى ٱلْمُتَلَقِّيَانِ عَنِ ٱلْيَمِينِ وَعَنِ ٱلشِّمَالِ قَعِيدٌ
17
Saheeh International
When the two receivers receive, seated on the right and on the left.
Transliteration (Aisan) · Aisan Transliteration
idh yatalaqqā l-mutalaqiyāni ʿani l-yamīni waʿani l-shimāli qaʿīdun
مَّا يَلْفِظُ مِن قَوْلٍ إِلَّا لَدَيْهِ رَقِيبٌ عَتِيدٌ
18
Saheeh International
Man does not utter any word except that with him is an observer prepared [to record].
Transliteration (Aisan) · Aisan Transliteration
mā yalfiẓu min qawlin illā ladayhi raqībun ʿatīdun
وَجَآءَتْ سَكْرَةُ ٱلْمَوْتِ بِٱلْحَقِّ ۖ ذَٰلِكَ مَا كُنتَ مِنْهُ تَحِيدُ
19
Saheeh International
And the intoxication of death will bring the truth; that is what you were trying to avoid.
Transliteration (Aisan) · Aisan Transliteration
wajāat sakratu l-mawti bil-ḥaqi dhālika mā kunta min'hu taḥīdu
وَنُفِخَ فِى ٱلصُّورِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ يَوْمُ ٱلْوَعِيدِ
20
Saheeh International
And the Horn will be blown. That is the Day of [carrying out] the threat.
Transliteration (Aisan) · Aisan Transliteration
wanufikha fī l-ṣūri dhālika yawmu l-waʿīdi
وَجَآءَتْ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّعَهَا سَآئِقٌ وَشَهِيدٌ
21
Saheeh International
And every soul will come, with it a driver and a witness.
Transliteration (Aisan) · Aisan Transliteration
wajāat kullu nafsin maʿahā sāiqun washahīdun
لَّقَدْ كُنتَ فِى غَفْلَةٍ مِّنْ هَٰذَا فَكَشَفْنَا عَنكَ غِطَآءَكَ فَبَصَرُكَ ٱلْيَوْمَ حَدِيدٌ
22
Saheeh International
[It will be said], "You were certainly in unmindfulness of this, and We have removed from you your cover, so your sight, this Day, is sharp."
Transliteration (Aisan) · Aisan Transliteration
laqad kunta fī ghaflatin min hādhā fakashafnā ʿanka ghiṭāaka fabaṣaruka l-yawma ḥadīdun
وَقَالَ قَرِينُهُۥ هَٰذَا مَا لَدَىَّ عَتِيدٌ
23
Saheeh International
And his companion, [the angel], will say, "This [record] is what is with me, prepared."
Transliteration (Aisan) · Aisan Transliteration
waqāla qarīnuhu hādhā mā ladayya ʿatīdun
أَلْقِيَا فِى جَهَنَّمَ كُلَّ كَفَّارٍ عَنِيدٍ
24
Saheeh International
[Allah will say], "Throw into Hell every obstinate disbeliever,
Transliteration (Aisan) · Aisan Transliteration
alqiyā fī jahannama kulla kaffārin ʿanīdin
مَّنَّاعٍ لِّلْخَيْرِ مُعْتَدٍ مُّرِيبٍ
25
Saheeh International
Preventer of good, aggressor, and doubter,
Transliteration (Aisan) · Aisan Transliteration
mannāʿin lil'khayri muʿ'tadin murībin
ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَ فَأَلْقِيَاهُ فِى ٱلْعَذَابِ ٱلشَّدِيدِ
26
Saheeh International
Who made [as equal] with Allah another deity; then throw him into the severe punishment."
Transliteration (Aisan) · Aisan Transliteration
alladhī jaʿala maʿa l-lahi ilāhan ākhara fa-alqiyāhu fī l-ʿadhābi l-shadīdi
۞ قَالَ قَرِينُهُۥ رَبَّنَا مَآ أَطْغَيْتُهُۥ وَلَٰكِن كَانَ فِى ضَلَٰلٍۭ بَعِيدٍ
27
Saheeh International
His [devil] companion will say, "Our Lord, I did not make him transgress, but he [himself] was in extreme error."
Transliteration (Aisan) · Aisan Transliteration
qāla qarīnuhu rabbanā mā aṭghaytuhu walākin kāna fī ḍalālin baʿīdin
قَالَ لَا تَخْتَصِمُوا۟ لَدَىَّ وَقَدْ قَدَّمْتُ إِلَيْكُم بِٱلْوَعِيدِ
28
Saheeh International
[Allah] will say, "Do not dispute before Me, while I had already presented to you the warning.
Transliteration (Aisan) · Aisan Transliteration
qāla lā takhtaṣimū ladayya waqad qaddamtu ilaykum bil-waʿīdi
مَا يُبَدَّلُ ٱلْقَوْلُ لَدَىَّ وَمَآ أَنَا۠ بِظَلَّٰمٍ لِّلْعَبِيدِ
29
Saheeh International
The word will not be changed with Me, and never will I be unjust to the servants."
Transliteration (Aisan) · Aisan Transliteration
mā yubaddalu l-qawlu ladayya wamā anā biẓallāmin lil'ʿabīdi
يَوْمَ نَقُولُ لِجَهَنَّمَ هَلِ ٱمْتَلَأْتِ وَتَقُولُ هَلْ مِن مَّزِيدٍ
30
Saheeh International
On the Day We will say to Hell, "Have you been filled?" and it will say, "Are there some more,"
Transliteration (Aisan) · Aisan Transliteration
yawma naqūlu lijahannama hali im'talati wataqūlu hal min mazīdin
وَأُزْلِفَتِ ٱلْجَنَّةُ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ غَيْرَ بَعِيدٍ
31
Saheeh International
And Paradise will be brought near to the righteous, not far,
Transliteration (Aisan) · Aisan Transliteration
wa-uz'lifati l-janatu lil'muttaqīna ghayra baʿīdin
هَٰذَا مَا تُوعَدُونَ لِكُلِّ أَوَّابٍ حَفِيظٍ
32
Saheeh International
[It will be said], "This is what you were promised - for every returner [to Allah] and keeper [of His covenant]
Transliteration (Aisan) · Aisan Transliteration
hādhā mā tūʿadūna likulli awwābin ḥafīẓin
مَّنْ خَشِىَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنَ بِٱلْغَيْبِ وَجَآءَ بِقَلْبٍ مُّنِيبٍ
33
Saheeh International
Who feared the Most Merciful unseen and came with a heart returning [in repentance].
Transliteration (Aisan) · Aisan Transliteration
man khashiya l-raḥmāna bil-ghaybi wajāa biqalbin munībin
ٱدْخُلُوهَا بِسَلَٰمٍ ۖ ذَٰلِكَ يَوْمُ ٱلْخُلُودِ
34
Saheeh International
Enter it in peace. This is the Day of Eternity."
Transliteration (Aisan) · Aisan Transliteration
ud'khulūhā bisalāmin dhālika yawmu l-khulūdi
لَهُم مَّا يَشَآءُونَ فِيهَا وَلَدَيْنَا مَزِيدٌ
35
Saheeh International
They will have whatever they wish therein, and with Us is more.
Transliteration (Aisan) · Aisan Transliteration
lahum mā yashāūna fīhā waladaynā mazīdun
وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّن قَرْنٍ هُمْ أَشَدُّ مِنْهُم بَطْشًا فَنَقَّبُوا۟ فِى ٱلْبِلَٰدِ هَلْ مِن مَّحِيصٍ
36
Saheeh International
And how many a generation before them did We destroy who were greater than them in [striking] power and had explored throughout the lands. Is there any place of escape?
Transliteration (Aisan) · Aisan Transliteration
wakam ahlaknā qablahum min qarnin hum ashaddu min'hum baṭshan fanaqqabū fī l-bilādi hal min maḥīṣin
إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَذِكْرَىٰ لِمَن كَانَ لَهُۥ قَلْبٌ أَوْ أَلْقَى ٱلسَّمْعَ وَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ
37
Saheeh International
Indeed in that is a reminder for whoever has a heart or who listens while he is present [in mind].
Transliteration (Aisan) · Aisan Transliteration
inna fī dhālika ladhik'rā liman kāna lahu qalbun aw alqā l-samʿa wahuwa shahīdun
وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فِى سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ وَمَا مَسَّنَا مِن لُّغُوبٍ
38
Saheeh International
And We did certainly create the heavens and earth and what is between them in six days, and there touched Us no weariness.
Transliteration (Aisan) · Aisan Transliteration
walaqad khalaqnā l-samāwāti wal-arḍa wamā baynahumā fī sittati ayyāmin wamā massanā min lughūbin
فَٱصْبِرْ عَلَىٰ مَا يَقُولُونَ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ ٱلشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ ٱلْغُرُوبِ
39
Saheeh International
So be patient, [O Muhammad], over what they say and exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before its setting,
Transliteration (Aisan) · Aisan Transliteration
fa-iṣ'bir ʿalā mā yaqūlūna wasabbiḥ biḥamdi rabbika qabla ṭulūʿi l-shamsi waqabla l-ghurūbi
وَمِنَ ٱلَّيْلِ فَسَبِّحْهُ وَأَدْبَٰرَ ٱلسُّجُودِ
40
Saheeh International
And [in part] of the night exalt Him and after prostration.
Transliteration (Aisan) · Aisan Transliteration
wamina al-layli fasabbiḥ'hu wa-adbāra l-sujūdi
وَٱسْتَمِعْ يَوْمَ يُنَادِ ٱلْمُنَادِ مِن مَّكَانٍ قَرِيبٍ
41
Saheeh International
And listen on the Day when the Caller will call out from a place that is near -
Transliteration (Aisan) · Aisan Transliteration
wa-is'tamiʿ yawma yunādi l-munādi min makānin qarībin
يَوْمَ يَسْمَعُونَ ٱلصَّيْحَةَ بِٱلْحَقِّ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ يَوْمُ ٱلْخُرُوجِ
42
Saheeh International
The Day they will hear the blast [of the Horn] in truth. That is the Day of Emergence [from the graves].
Transliteration (Aisan) · Aisan Transliteration
yawma yasmaʿūna l-ṣayḥata bil-ḥaqi dhālika yawmu l-khurūji
إِنَّا نَحْنُ نُحْىِۦ وَنُمِيتُ وَإِلَيْنَا ٱلْمَصِيرُ
43
Saheeh International
Indeed, it is We who give life and cause death, and to Us is the destination
Transliteration (Aisan) · Aisan Transliteration
innā naḥnu nuḥ'yī wanumītu wa-ilaynā l-maṣīru
يَوْمَ تَشَقَّقُ ٱلْأَرْضُ عَنْهُمْ سِرَاعًا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ حَشْرٌ عَلَيْنَا يَسِيرٌ
44
Saheeh International
On the Day the earth breaks away from them [and they emerge] rapidly; that is a gathering easy for Us.
Transliteration (Aisan) · Aisan Transliteration
yawma tashaqqaqu l-arḍu ʿanhum sirāʿan dhālika ḥashrun ʿalaynā yasīrun
نَّحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَقُولُونَ ۖ وَمَآ أَنتَ عَلَيْهِم بِجَبَّارٍ ۖ فَذَكِّرْ بِٱلْقُرْءَانِ مَن يَخَافُ وَعِيدِ
45
Saheeh International
We are most knowing of what they say, and you are not over them a tyrant. But remind by the Qur'an whoever fears My threat.
Transliteration (Aisan) · Aisan Transliteration
naḥnu aʿlamu bimā yaqūlūna wamā anta ʿalayhim bijabbārin fadhakkir bil-qur'āni man yakhāfu waʿīdi
