Hadith of a man about the Prophet (peace be upon him)

حَدِيثُ رَجُلٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ٢٠٠٥٩ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ (١) الطُّفَاوِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ الْجُرَيْرِيُّ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، مِنْ بَنِي تَمِيمٍ، وَأَحْسَنَ الثَّنَاءَ عَلَيْهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَوْ عَمِّهِ، قَالَ: صَلَّيْتُ خَلْفَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَسَأَلْنَاهُ عَنْ قَدْرِ رُكُوعِهِ وَسُجُودِهِ، فَقَالَ: " قَدْرُ مَا يَقُولُ الرَّجُلُ سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ ثَلَاثًا " (٢)، ،

A man from Banu Tamim narrates from his father or uncle that I have prayed behind the Prophet (peace be upon him). We asked him about the duration of the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) bowing and prostration, so he replied: As long as it takes a person to say "Subhan Allah wa bihamdihi" three times.
