It is narrated from Abdullah bin Hubshi that a person asked the Prophet (ﷺ): "Which deed is the most virtuous?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Such faith in which there is no doubt, such jihad in which there is no embezzlement of war booty, and Hajj Mabrur." The questioner asked: "Which prayer is the most virtuous?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "The long prayer." The questioner asked: "Which charity is the most virtuous?" He said: "The charity given by a person who has little wealth, earned by his own effort." The questioner asked: "Which migration is the most virtuous?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "The one who migrates away from what Allah has forbidden." The questioner asked: "Which jihad is the most virtuous?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Jihad against the polytheists with one's life and wealth." The questioner asked: "Then which death is the most virtuous?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "The one whose blood is shed and the legs of his horse are cut."
