Hadith of Umm Malik al-Bahziyyah (may Allah be pleased with her)

حَدِيثُ أُمِّ مَالِكٍ الْبَهْزِيَّةِ (١)، ٢٧٣٥٣ - حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي طَاووُسٌ، عَنْ أُمِّ مَالِكٍ الْبَهْزِيَّةِ قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " خَيْرُ النَّاسِ فِي الْفِتْنَةِ رَجُلٌ مُعْتَزِلٌ فِي مَالِهِ، يَعْبُدُ رَبَّهُ، وَيُؤَدِّي حَقَّهُ، وَرَجُلٌ آخِذٌ بِرَأْسِ فَرَسِهِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ، يُخِيفُهُمْ وَيُخِيفُونَهُ " (٢)، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،

It is narrated from Umm Malik Bahziya (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "In the time of tribulation, the best person among the people will be the one who, with his wealth, remains secluded and worships his Lord and fulfills His rights; and the other is the person who, holding the reins of his horse in the path of Allah, sets out—he frightens the enemy and the enemy frightens him."
