Hadith of the paternal aunt of Husayn ibn Mihsan (may Allah be pleased with her)

حَدِيثُ عَمَّةِ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ مِحْصَنٍ، ٢٧٣٥٢ - حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ (١) ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، وَيَعْلَى قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ بُشَيْرِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ مِحْصَنٍ، أَنَّ عَمَّةً لَهُ أَتَتِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي حَاجَةٍ، فَفَرَغَتْ مِنْ حَاجَتِهَا، فَقَالَ لَهَا: " أَذَاتُ زَوْجٍ أَنْتِ؟ "، قَالَتْ: نَعَمْ، قَالَ: " فَأَيْنَ أَنْتِ مِنْهُ؟ " - قَالَ يَعْلَى: " فَكَيْفَ أَنْتِ لَهُ؟ " - قَالَتْ: مَا آلُوهُ إِلَّا مَا عَجَزْتُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: " انْظُرِي أَيْنَ أَنْتِ مِنْهُ فَإِنَّهُ جَنَّتُكِ وَنَارُكِ " (٢)، ،

It is narrated from Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that one of his paternal aunts came to the service of the Prophet (ﷺ) for some work. When the work was completed, the Prophet (ﷺ) asked: "Are you married?" She replied: "Yes!" The Prophet (ﷺ) asked: "Do you serve your husband?" She said: "I do not fall short in this, except when I am unable to do something." The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Be mindful of this, for he is your Paradise and your Hell."
