حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: " حَمَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ النَّقِيعَ لِلْخَيْلِ " فَقُلْتُ لَهُ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ يَعْنِي الْعُمَرِيَّ: خَيْلُهُ؟ قَالَ: " خُيُولُ (٤) الْمُسْلِمِينَ " (٥)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) made Naqi’ a pasture for horses. Hammad says: I asked, "For his own horses?" The teacher replied, "No, rather for the horses of the Muslims."
