حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، قَالَ: كَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ " يَرْمُلُ مِنَ الْحَجَرِ إِلَى الْحَجَرِ، وَيَزْعُمُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ (٢) " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
Nafi' (may Allah have mercy on him) says that Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to perform ramal (brisk walking) from the Black Stone to the Black Stone in the initial circuits of tawaf. He believed that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) also used to do the same.
