Translation
English translation
It is narrated mursal from Imam Zuhri, may Allah have mercy on him, that when the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) would stone the first Jamrah, which is near the mosque, he would throw seven pebbles and say takbeer with each pebble. Then he would stand facing the Ka'bah, raise his hands, and make supplication, and he would stand for a long time. Then he would throw seven pebbles at the second Jamrah, saying takbeer with each pebble, and he would move to the left side towards the bottom of the valley, stand, face the Ka'bah, raise his hands, and make supplication. Then he would come to the Jamrah Aqabah, throw seven pebbles at it, saying takbeer with each pebble, and after that he would not stand there but would return. Imam Zuhri, may Allah have mercy on him, says: I heard Salim, may Allah have mercy on him, narrate the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) in the same manner, and Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) would also do the same.
