حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " لَا عَدْوَى وَلَا طِيَرَةَ، وَالشُّؤْمُ فِي ثَلَاثَةٍ (١) : فِي الْمَرْأَةِ، وَالدَّارِ، وَالدَّابَّةِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "No disease is contagious and there is no reality in bad omens. Misfortune could be found in three things: in a horse, in a woman, and in a house."
