حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ،، ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يَبْعَثُنَا فِي أَطْرَافِ الْمَدِينَةِ، فَيَأْمُرُنَا أَنْ لَا نَدَعَ كَلْبًا إِلَّا قَتَلْنَاهُ، حَتَّى نَقْتُلَ الْكَلْبَ لِلْمُرَيَّةِ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَادِيَةِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) once sent us to the outskirts of Madinah and ordered us to kill all the dogs. A woman had come from the village; we killed her dog as well.
