Translation

English translation

Nafi' (may Allah have mercy on him) reports that Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) set out for Makkah with the intention of performing 'Umrah during the days of turmoil, and said: "If any obstacle comes before me, I will do what the Prophet (ﷺ) did." Then he made the intention for 'Umrah, because the Prophet (ﷺ) had also assumed the Ihram for 'Umrah in the year of Hudaybiyyah.
