قَرَأْتُ عَلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ: مَالِكٌ وحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " خَمْسٌ مِنَ الدَّوَابِّ مَنْ قَتَلَهُنَّ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ، فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِ: الْعَقْرَبُ، وَالْفَأْرَةُ، وَالْكَلْبُ الْعَقُورُ، وَالْغُرَابُ، وَالْحِدَأَةُ " (٢)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: There are five kinds of animals which there is no sin in killing even in the state of Ihram: the scorpion, the rat, the kite, the crow, and the rabid dog.
