حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كُنَاسَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: أَتَى عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ، فَقَالَ: يَا ابْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ: إِيَّاكَ وَالْإِلْحَادَ فِي حَرَمِ اللهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى، فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " إِنَّهُ سَيُلْحِدُ فِيهِ رَجُلٌ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ، لَوْ وُزِنَتْ (١) ذُنُوبُهُ بِذُنُوبِ الثَّقَلَيْنِ لَرَجَحَتْ " قَالَ: فَانْظُرْ لَا تَكُونُهُ (٢)،
Translation
English translation
Once, Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) came to Abdullah bin Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) and said, "O Zubair, protect yourself from becoming a means of spreading heresy in Allah's Sacred Sanctuary, for I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: 'A man from the Quraysh will spread heresy in the Sacred Sanctuary. If the sins of all mankind and jinn were weighed against his sins, his sins would outweigh them.' So beware, do not be that man."
