Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when the Prophet (ﷺ) would lie down on his bed, he would say: « الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَمَلِكَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَإِلَهَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَلَكَ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ النَّارِ » "All praise is due to Allah who has sufficed me, given me shelter, fed and provided me drink, shown me kindness and favor, given to me and given abundantly. In every condition, all praise is due to Allah. O Allah! O Lord of everything! Owner and Deity of everything! Everything belongs to You alone. I seek refuge in You from the Hellfire."
