Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ " خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حُجَّاجًا، فَمَا أَحْلَلْنَا مِنْ شَيْءٍ حَتَّى أَحْلَلْنَا يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that we set out with the Prophet (ﷺ) with the intention of Hajj, and before the Day of Sacrifice (Yawm al-Nahr), we did not make anything lawful for ourselves.
