Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، كَانَ لَا يَسْتَلِمُ شَيْئًا مِنَ الْبَيْتِ إِلَّا الرُّكْنَيْنِ، ، الْيَمَانِيَيْنِ، فَإِنَّهُ كَانَ يَسْتَلِمُهُمَا وَيُخْبِرُ " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَفْعَلُهُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
Nafi' (may Allah have mercy on him) says that Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) would not touch any corner except the Black Stone and the Yemeni Corner; he would only touch these two corners and would state that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to do the same.
