حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ قَالَ: كَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ إِذَا ذُكِرَ عِنْدَهُ الْبَيْدَاءُ يَسُبُّهَا أَوْ كَادَ يَسُبُّهَا (١) وَيَقُولُ: " إِنَّمَا أَحْرَمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
Salim (may Allah have mercy on him) says that Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to curse regarding the place of Bida’ and used to say that the Prophet (ﷺ) assumed Ihram from the mosque itself (and not from the place of Bida’ as you have made famous).
