حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا الْعُمَرِيُّ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الِلَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِذَا أَكَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَوْ شَرِبَ، فَلَا يَأْكُلْ بِشِمَالِهِ، وَلَا يَشْرَبْ بِشِمَالِهِ، فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَأْكُلُ وَيَشْرَبُ بِشِمَالِهِ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "When any one of you eats food, he should not eat or drink with his left hand, for Satan eats and drinks with his left hand."
