حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ مُحْرِزٍ قَالَ:، ، بَيْنَمَا ابْنُ عُمَرَ يَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ إِذْ عَرَضَهُ (١) رَجُلٌ، فَقَالَ: يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ كَيْفَ سَمِعْتَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ فِي النَّجْوَى؟ قَالَ: " يَدْنُو الْمُؤْمِنُ مِنْ رَبِّهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ كَأَنَّهُ بَذَجٌ، فَيَضَعُ عَلَيْهِ كَنَفَهُ - أَيْ يَسْتُرُهُ - ثُمَّ يَقُولُ: أَتَعْرِفُ؟ فَيَقُولُ: رَبِّ أَعْرِفُ. ثُمَّ يَقُولُ: أَتَعْرِفُ؟ فَيَقُولُ: رَبِّ أَعْرِفُ، يَعْنِي فَيَقُولُ: أَنَا سَتَرْتُهَا عَلَيْكَ فِي الدُّنْيَا، وَأَنَا أَغْفِرُهَا لَكَ الْيَوْمَ، وَيُعْطَى صَحِيفَةَ حَسَنَاتِهِ، وَأَمَّا الْكُفَّارُ وَالْمُنَافِقُونَ، فَيُنَادَى (٢) بِهِمْ عَلَى رُءُوسِ الْأَشْهَادِ ": {هَؤُلَاءِ الَّذِينَ كَذَبُوا عَلَى رَبِّهِمْ أَلَا لَعْنَةُ اللهِ عَلَى الظَّالِمِينَ} [هود: ١٨] قَالَ سَعِيدٌ: وَقَالَ قَتَادَةُ: " فَلَمْ يَخْزَ (٣) يَوْمَئِذٍ أَحَدٌ فَخَفِيَ خِزْيُهُ عَلَى أَحَدٍ مِنَ الْخَلَائِقِ " (٤)، ،
Translation
English translation
Safwan bin Mahraz, may Allah have mercy on him, says that once Abdullah bin Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, was performing Tawaf of the House of Allah when a man came and said: O Abu Abdur Rahman! What have you heard from the Prophet (ﷺ) regarding the whispering that will take place on the Day of Resurrection? Abdullah bin Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, replied: I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say that Allah Almighty will bring a believing servant close to Himself and will cover him with His sheet, concealing him from the eyes of the people, and will make him confess his sins and will say to him: Do you remember such and such sins? When he will have confessed all his sins (and will think in his heart that now he is doomed), then Allah Almighty will say to him: I concealed your sins in the world and today I forgive you, then he will be given his book of deeds. As for the disbelievers and hypocrites, the witnesses will say: These are the ones who used to deny their Lord. Behold! The curse of Allah is upon the wrongdoers.
