حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ يَحْيَى، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يُصَلِّي عَلَى حِمَارٍ، ، وَوَجْهُهُ قِبَلَ الْمَشْرِقِ تَطَوُّعًا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performing voluntary prayer on a donkey, at that time he (peace be upon him) was going towards the east.
