Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُشِيرُ إِلَى الْمَشْرِقِ وَيَقُولُ: " هَا إِنَّ الْفِتَنَ هَاهُنَا، إِنَّ الْفِتَنَ هَاهُنَا حَيْثُ (٣) يَطْلُعُ قَرْنُ الشَّيْطَانِ " (٤)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once I saw the Prophet (ﷺ) point with his hand towards the east and say twice: "The trial will emerge from here, from where the horn of Satan will emerge."
