حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ (٤) بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " نَهَى أَنْ يَلْبَسَ الْمُحْرِمُ، ، ثَوْبًا صُبِغَ بِوَرْسٍ أَوْ زَعْفَرَانٍ "، وَقَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ نَعْلَانِ فَلْيَلْبَسِ الْخُفَّيْنِ، وَلْيَقْطَعْهُمَا أَسْفَلَ (١) مِنَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ " (٢)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade the pilgrim in the state of Ihram from wearing clothes dyed with saffron or wars, and said: "If the pilgrim does not find shoes, then he should wear socks, but cut them below the ankles."
