Translation

English translation

Abdullah bin Shaqiq (may Allah have mercy on him) says that once I asked Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) about the night prayer, so he replied that once a man asked the Prophet (ﷺ) about the night prayer while I was between the two of them. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "You should pray two rak‘ahs at a time, and when you fear that morning is near, then add one rak‘ah to those two, and pray two rak‘ahs before the Fajr prayer."
