Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ الْخُزَاعِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَاعَنَ بَيْنَ رَجُلٍ وَامْرَأَتِهِ، وَأَلْحَقَ الْوَلَدَ بِأُمِّهِ، وَكَانَ انْتَفَى مِنْ وَلَدِهَا " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that a man performed li'an (mutual cursing) with his wife in the presence of the Prophet (ﷺ) and denied the attribution of the child to himself. The Prophet (ﷺ) separated the two and handed the child over to the mother.
