قَالَ: وَجَدْتُ فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، حَدَّثَنِي شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ " نَهَى عَنِ الْوَرْسِ وَالزَّعْفَرَانِ " قَالَ شُعْبَةُ فَقُلْتُ: أَنَا لِلْمُحْرِمِ فَقَالَ: نَعَمْ (١)، °
Translation
English translation
Abdullah bin Dinar (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I once heard Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrate this hadith from the Prophet (ﷺ) that he (peace be upon him) forbade (the use of) wars and saffron. I asked: For the one in ihram? He replied: Yes.
