Original Arabic
قَالَ: وَجَدْتُ فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، حَدَّثَنِي شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ نَعْلَيْنِ فَلْيَلْبَسْ خُفَّيْنِ وَلْيَشُقَّهُمَا (١) أَوْ لِيَقْطَعْهُمَا أَسْفَلَ مِنَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ (٢) " (٣)، ، °
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever does not find shoes should wear leather socks after cutting them below the ankles.
