Original Arabic
قَالَ: وَجَدْتُ فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " إِذَا قَالَ الرَّجُلُ لِأَخِيهِ: أَنْتَ كَافِرٌ أَوْ يَا كَافِرُ (٢) فَقَدْ بَاءَ بِهَا أَحَدُهُمَا " (٣)، °
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "When a person calls his brother 'O disbeliever,' then surely one of them returns as a disbeliever."
