حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، وَعُبَيْدُ اللهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الضَّبِّ، فَقَالَ: " لَسْتُ بِآكِلِهِ، وَلَا مُحَرِّمِهِ " (١)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that a man asked the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) about the lizard. The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: "I neither eat it nor declare it unlawful."
