حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَكْرَهُ الِاشْتِرَاطَ فِي الْحَجِّ، وَيَقُولُ: " أَمَا حَسْبُكُمْ بِسُنَّةِ (١) نَبِيِّكُمْ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّهُ لَمْ يَشْتَرِطْ (٢) "، ،
Translation
English translation
Salim (may Allah have mercy on him) says that Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) considered making a condition in Hajj to be disliked, and he used to say: "Is the Sunnah of your Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) not sufficient for you? For he did not make any condition either."
