Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ بَحِيرٍ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ الْقَاصُّ،، ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ يَزِيدَ (١) الصَّنْعَانِيَّ، أَخْبَرَهُ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ كَأَنَّهُ رَأْيُ عَيْنٍ فَلْيَقْرَأْ: إِذَا الشَّمْسُ كُوِّرَتْ، وَإِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْفَطَرَتْ، وَإِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ، وَأَحْسَبُ (٢) أَنَّهُ قَالَ: سُورَةَ هُودٍ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whoever wants to see the scene of the Day of Resurrection with his own eyes should recite Surah Takweer, Surah Infitar, and Surah Inshiqaq." He also probably mentioned Surah Hud.
