Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ، عَنِ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " مَنْ تَرَكَ الْعَصْرَ مُتَعَمِّدًا حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ، فَكَأَنَّمَا وُتِرَ أَهْلَهُ وَمَالَهُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: "Whoever deliberately leaves the Asr prayer until the sun sets, it is as if his family and wealth have been destroyed."
