Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِذَا دَخَلَ مَكَّةَ دَخَلَ مِنَ الثَّنِيَّةِ الْعُلْيَا، وَإِذَا خَرَجَ خَرَجَ مِنَ الثَّنِيَّةِ السُّفْلَى " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) would enter Makkah Mukarramah, he would enter from "Thaniyyah 'Ulya" and when he would leave, he would leave from "Thaniyyah Sufla."
