Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that during the blessed life of the Prophet (ﷺ), despite the large number of the noble Companions (may Allah be pleased with them), when we used to rank them, we would count them as follows: Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman (may Allah be pleased with them). Upon reaching this point, we would remain silent.
