Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا تُوعِي، فَيُوعِيَ اللهُ عَلَيْكِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Asma that once the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Spend and do not count (your spending) lest it be counted against you."
