Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ صَالِحٍ، وَحَدَّثَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ، أَنَّ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ قَالَتْ: " سُجِّيَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ مَاتَ بِثَوْبٍ حِبَرَةٍ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (ﷺ) passed away, he was covered with a striped Yemeni cloak.
