حَدَّثَنَا حُجَيْنُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْبَهِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ لَهَا: " نَاوِلِينِي الْخُمْرَةَ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ " فَقَالَتْ: إِنِّي حَائِضٌ، فَقَالَ: " إِنَّ حَيْضَتَكِ لَيْسَتْ فِي يَدِكِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said to me: "Pick up the mat from the mosque and give it to me." I said, "I am in my days (i.e., menstruating)." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Your menstruation is not in your hand."
