حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا دَاوُدُ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، قَالَ قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَرَأَيْتَ إِذَا بُدِّلَتِ الْأَرْضُ غَيْرَ الْأَرْضِ وَالسَّمَوَاتُ وَبَرَزُوا لِلَّهِ الْوَاحِدِ الْقَهَّارِ أَيْنَ النَّاسُ يَوْمَئِذٍ قَالَ " النَّاسُ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَلَى الصِّرَاطِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that regarding this verse "The Day when the earth will be changed to another earth, and the heavens [as well], and they [all] will appear before Allah, the One, the Prevailing", I was the first to ask the Prophet (ﷺ) about it. I said, O Messenger of Allah! (When the earth will be changed) where will the people be at that time? The Prophet (ﷺ) replied: On the Bridge of Sirat.
