Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا، فَقَالَ: " لَوْلَا أَنْ تَبْطَرَ قُرَيْشٌ، لَأَخْبَرْتُهَا بِمَا لَهَا عِنْدَ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) came to her and said: "If I did not fear that the Quraysh would fall into pride and arrogance, I would have told them what their status and rank is with Allah."
