Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (ﷺ) used to mention Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her), he would praise her greatly. One day, I felt jealous and said, "Why do you mention that old woman with red gums so frequently, who has died, and in whose place Allah has given you better wives?" The face of the Prophet (ﷺ) became as red as it would only become at the time of the descent of revelation, or when clouds would gather and the Prophet (ﷺ) would observe whether it was a sign of mercy or a sign of hardship.
