حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، حَدَّثَنِي جَعْفَرُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ، عَنْ عِرَاكِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: " صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْعِشَاءَ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى ثَمَانِ رَكَعَاتٍ قَائِمًا، وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ جَالِسًا بَيْنَ النِّدَاءَيْنِ لَمْ يَكُنْ يَدَعُهُمَا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) offered the Isha prayer. Then he performed eight rak'ahs standing, then two rak'ahs between the adhan and iqamah of Fajr, which the Prophet (ﷺ) never used to omit.
