Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to pay such special attention to the crescent of Sha'ban that he did not pay as much attention to the crescent of any other month. He would fast upon sighting the crescent, and if the sky was cloudy, he would complete the count of thirty days and then fast.
