Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجٌ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: يَا ابْنَ أُخْتِي، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " وَالَّذِي، ، نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ، إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَعْمَلُ الزَّمَانَ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ النَّارِ، وَإِنَّهُ عِنْدَ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَمَكْتُوبٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ، وَإِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَعْمَلُ الزَّمَانَ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ، وَإِنَّهُ عِنْدَ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَمَكْتُوبٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: By Him in Whose hand is my soul, sometimes a person is performing the deeds of the people of Paradise, but in the Preserved Tablet his name is written among the people of Hell. Similarly, a man is performing the deeds of the people of Hell, but in the Preserved Tablet his name is written among the people of Paradise.
