Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ: يَا ابْنَ أُخْتِي، قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " يَا عَائِشَةُ، لَا تُحْصِي فَيُحْصِيَ اللهُ عَلَيْكِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Aisha that once the Prophet (peace be upon him) said to me, "O Aisha! Do not give by counting, otherwise Allah will also count for you."
