Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي مِجْلَزٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا جَلَسَ وَسْطَ حَلْقَةِ قَوْمٍ فَقَالَ حُذَيْفَةُ: " لَعَنَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ـ أَوْ قَالَ مَلْعُونٌ عَلَى لِسَانِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ـ الَّذِي يَجْلِسُ وَسْطَ الْحَلْقَةِ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) that whoever sits in the middle of a circle has been declared accursed by the tongue of the Noble Prophet (ﷺ).
