حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ: " قَامَ فِينَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَقَامًا، فَأَخْبَرَنَا بِمَا هُوَ كَائِنٌ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ، حَفِظَهُ مَنْ حَفِظَهُ، وَنَسِيَهُ مَنْ نَسِيَهُ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) stood among us and did not leave out any event that would occur until the Day of Judgment without describing it right there while standing. Whoever remembered it, remembered it, and whoever forgot it, forgot it.
