حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " الْجَنَّةُ مِائَةُ، ، دَرَجَةٍ، مَا بَيْنَ كُلِّ دَرَجَتَيْنِ مِنْهُمَا كَمَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ. الْفِرْدَوْسُ أَعْلَاهَا دَرَجَةً وَمِنْهَا تُفَجَّرُ أَنْهَارُ الْجَنَّةِ الْأَرْبَعَةُ، وَمِنْ فَوْقِهَا يَكُونُ الْعَرْشُ، وَإِذَا سَأَلْتُمُ اللهَ فَاسْأَلُوهُ الْفِرْدَوْسَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ubada (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Paradise has one hundred levels; between each two levels is a distance of one hundred years. The highest rank is the level of Jannat al-Firdous. From it flow the four rivers, and above it is the Throne of Allah. Therefore, when you ask Allah, ask Him for Jannat al-Firdous.
