حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ، أَخْبَرَنَا بَكْرُ (٣) بْنُ مُضَرَ، حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ زَحْرٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " لَا تَبِيعُوا الْمُغَنِّيَاتِ (٤)، ، وَلَا تَشْتَرُوهُنَّ وَلَا تُعَلِّمُوهُنَّ، وَلَا خَيْرَ فِي تِجَارَةٍ فِيهِنَّ وَثَمَنُهُنَّ حَرَامٌ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Do not buy or sell slave girls who sing songs, and do not teach them singing and playing music, and there is no good in their trade, and eating (earning) from their price is forbidden.
