Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي سِمَاكٌ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِجَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ: كَيْفَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَصْنَعُ إِذَا صَلَّى الْفَجْرَ؟ قَالَ: " كَانَ يَجْلِسُ فِي مُصَلَّاهُ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
Samak asked Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) what was the practice of the Prophet (ﷺ) after the Fajr prayer. He replied that he used to remain seated in his place until the sun rose.
