حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا الْمُوجِبَتَانِ؟ قَالَ: " مَنْ مَاتَ لَا يُشْرِكُ بِاللهِ شَيْئًا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ، وَمَنْ مَاتَ يُشْرِكُ بِاللهِ دَخَلَ النَّارَ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the presence of the Prophet and said: O Messenger of Allah! What are the two things that make [one] obligatory? The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever meets Allah in such a state that he does not associate anyone with Him will enter Paradise, and whoever meets Allah in such a state that he associates someone with Him will enter Hell.
