Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " اللهُمَّ أَيُّمَا مُؤْمِنٍ سَبَبْتُهُ، أَوْ لَعَنْتُهُ، أَوْ جَلَدْتُهُ، فَاجْعَلْهَا لَهُ زَكَاةً، وَأَجْرًا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: O Allah, for any Muslim about whom harsh words come out from my mouth, make it a means of purification and reward for him.
